Welcome to Maksim's Academy
The Russian Hogwarts RPG
Welcome to the sleepy town of Lyosha Stanislav located in the Mountain valleys of the Sikhote-Alin. Maksim's Academy is a prestigious magical school located at the base of Anik Moutain, the highest peak in the Primorsky.
Like Hogsmeade, Lyosha is a purely Wizarding town and completely hidden from Muggle eyes. It is a very quiet town and many wizard retreated here away from the prying eyes of the Dark Lord during the great battle when he rose to power for the second time. Lyosha became a safe Haven thanks to the protective charms made by the Russian Headmaster of the Acadmey and similarly strong wizards hiding in the little village. Maksim and his followers refused to fight in the battle and chose to use their powers to envelope the town in safety and let it be a refuge for those desperate enough to leave their home countries.
Since the battle was won and the Dark Lord defeated by Harry Potter many have remained in Lyosha and in its protective bubble and raise children under the watchful eyes of Maksim and his Great Academy.

The setting for this RPG is during the aftermath of the Second Battle. Harry Potter has just turned eighteen-years-old. Life in the Wizarding World is slowly returning to normal and the students attending Maksim's Academy are slowly coming to terms with a life without war and the resulting grieveous losses suffered, however there are still Death Eaters at large living undercover and undiscovered. Although the majority of the students are Russian many students from England and America are applying to attend.
